Standing Rigging and Traction Systems for Tall Ships and Naval Training Vessels
At Cables Estructurales, we take on technical challenges where maritime tradition meets the peak precision of modern engineering. Our track record in the naval sector is defined by the trust of the world’s most prestigious Navies.
Featured Projects in Standing Rigging and Traction Systems:
- Training Ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano (Spain): We executed the total replacement of the standing rigging. We designed, manufactured, and certified custom critical components (terminals, turnbuckles, and deadeyes), meeting the rigorous standards of the Spanish Navy under extremely demanding delivery deadlines.
- Training Ship Guayas (Ecuador): We brought our industrial capacity directly to the shipyard in Ecuador. We relocated specialized machinery and personnel for the on-site manufacturing of all the ship’s cables, guaranteeing millimeter precision in every adjustment.
- Training Ship Cuauhtémoc (Mexico): Following the incident at the Brooklyn Bridge, we led the comprehensive redesign and from-scratch manufacturing of stainless steel turnbuckles and rigging accessories, certifying the vessel’s safety under international regulations.
Technical Capacity Without Borders:
Our experience allows us to design customized solutions for the rigging of tall ships, combining knowledge of advanced materials with logistics capable of operating in any port worldwide.
We provide solidity and safety to the ambassadors of the sea.
